Yes, I have always provided my services to both plaintiff and defense attorneys.

When can I expect to receive an opinion after I have hired you as an expert witness? +

Although the time to complete a report varies on the quantity of medical records reviewed, typically you can expect a completed opinion/report in 10 – 14 business days, sooner if circumstances require an expedited report.



Have you been the subject of a Daubert challenges? +

No, none of my opinions have been a subject of a Daubert challenge.

What is your experience in providing expert witness opinions and testimony? +

I have several years of experience in providing written opinions and oral testimony in depositions and at trial.

What are your fees? +

I am paid for my time. Typically, I require a $3,000 non-refundable retainer for my services applied to my charge of $750/hour. The retainer is replenishable depending on the amount of time spent on review. A comprehensive Expert Witness Retention Agreement will be provided to you for your review should you choose to retain me as an expert.

What percentage of your income is derived from expert witness work? +

Typically, approximately 5 – 10% of my income is derived from expert witness work. I am still in full time practice at an academic facility that includes teaching and clinical responsibilities.

Where do you find expert witness clients? +

I am currently listed in several expert witness directories including SEAK, Juris Pro, and Expert Pages. A significant number of reviews are obtained through word of mouth. I will only accept cases based on the merits of the case and only those cases that I am qualified to opine on based on my knowledge, skills, and experience.
